Welcome back to Day 6. It was a cold and snowy day here in north central Manitoba, so I was more than happy to hunker down in my craft room. I cranked up the Christmas tunes (Johnny Reid's amazing new Christmas CD), brewed up a steaming hot latte and crafted for hours on end!
Today's card features another Silhouette file, Lil' Inker Stitched Mat, AC card stock and a bit of bling. The trees are all popped up with varying thicknesses of foam dots - nice effect in real life.
Here is the handy 'map' that will take you on another creative journey. Remember to leave a comment here on my blog to be in the running for the mystery prize that will be drawn on December 22nd.
Well, I'm glad to see that you're not up until 1:00 am again this morning (if I'm calculating the time difference correctly!) - but you might be close!!! Another awesome card, Geri! Love that pretty blue jumping in with the traditional red and green - I really think "they" need to consider this blue as on official traditional colour - they all look soooo good together! The trees are FAB, with their different patterns, but cohesive looks. Swoon!!!
ReplyDeleteOH EM GEE!! These sweet trees are certainly delicious!! Love the color combo, and the stitched mat!! Oy!! The stitching adds a great finished detail!! Sounds like you had a lovely day! It was chilly here today, too, but I'm sure not as cold as it is at your house!! I intended to get into my craft room today . . . spent the day catching up on DT details and blog posting. But I do feel like I was somewhat productive, so that's all that counts in my book! LOL Really loving your holiday creations, sistah!!
ReplyDeletehow cute are those trees and I love how you added the gems.. such a cute card..
ReplyDeleteAt the risk of leaving the same comment every day, this is simply beautiful! Love the colours!
ReplyDeleteSuper adorable! Love the colorful trees!
ReplyDeleteSuch s lovely card. Love those trees!
ReplyDeleteStunning I just love your choice of colors for the trees and the placement as well love it
ReplyDeletei love this card! the mix of traditional/nontraditional colors works so perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI'll echo Ardyth (I've maxed out on my superlatives; time to consult the thesaurus): GORGEOUS! Swooning over the colours. Time for me to gather together my Christmas music and craft to the tunes (one of my favourites: Six White Boomers - the kangaroos guiding Santa's sleigh...love it!!). Frigid cold here, but the sun's shining...can't wait to go home and craft! Hugs ~ c
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these trendy trees. I sure wish they would make a die for these trees. Sadly, I don't own a Silhouette. :(
ReplyDeleteWow, such a fun card! Those die cut trees are awesome and adding the jewels is the perfect touch!
ReplyDeleteWell, Geri, everyone's having the same problem ... insufficient vocabulary availability! You continue to out-do yourself each day ... you're completely and utterley on fire! I adore these trees ... colours, patterns, layout, dimension, background ... everything is in total harmony ... WOW!
ReplyDeleteAnd now, a question ... can poetry be CASEd? Hope so cause I tried to ... here's a little limerick to say a huge THANK YOU for my amazing poem ... and for the chuckle I enjoy each time I think of it!
There once was a crafter called Geri
With awesomeness extraordinary
Her talent and genius
Were matched by her sweetness
And comments so complimentary
Hugs to you, dear friend ... Anita :)
Cute - love the clean, graphic look and the different colored trees.
