In 1557 a gentleman by the name of Thomas Tusser compiled a collection of
writings he called A Hundred Good Points of Husbandry. In the April Husbandry
section he wrote:
Oh dear. Your poor flowers are buried! Maybe May showers will bring June flowers? Feel free to come to Toronto for a visit - it's almost 20 here today!
I can clearly see that Mr. Tusser lied. I am so sorry for the snow. Promise I won't attach photos of the daffodils blooming in my yard...However, if you can't go anywhere, then you'll be pleasantly trapped in your craft room all day! Not a bad way to spend a snow day. Before you know it, you'll be swatting mosquitoes. Bev
Aww, poor you! (it does look pretty, though.) For once, I can gloat - we had fabulous weather today, spring has finally arrived and we managed to do some gardening :)
Yep, that really does look awesome and so pretty, Geri, but probably not so when you're in the midst of it! Sharing our sunny spells with you my sweet friend! Anita :)
ohhhhhhhh...this is just stunning! We never ever get snow where I live and just once I would love to wake up and see a scene like this. Thank you for sharing.
