Unscripted Sketches is 4 years young and we're having a party! There might just be some sweet surprises waiting for you over at the blog.
The flower and leaf dies are MFT ( three layers for the flowers), sentiment is SU. There is a scored line above and below the skinny little green strip of paper but dang it all, it doesn't show up in the photo!
We would love to have you join us for the celebration!
Happy crafting!
LOVE this - the colours are amazing and your skinny strip is perfectly skinny (mine would be slightly thicker at one end, for sure) and I know it wasn't easy to glue it down! I love stacking die cuts for dimension - you get more control and it's more sturdy than if you use foam tape.
ReplyDeleteHappy. Your card makes me feel happy. And anxious for spring...like so many of us. Perfect colors. Perfect placement. Perfect sentiment. Lalalove this. Bev
ReplyDeleteFab card, Geri! I love the polka-dot leaves. And your cutting precision is amazing!
ReplyDeleteOooh, delectable dotty delights, Geri ... this is just gorgeous, it's calling 'spring, spring' to me with those vibrant colours and happy (I agree with Bev) flowers! That strip of dotty green ... perfectly precise ... and on such a slim, slender, sylph-like strip ... so splendid! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWow! This is so bright and fun! Too cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the sweetest comment the other day! You made me smile!
FABulous! I love that bright purple...gorgeous! Everything is perfectly executed, stamping, cutting, layout...as usual! :)
ReplyDeleteGeri - what a lovely, bright, "Spring" card - perfect 'turn the mood around' motivation given the falling snow of 'warm winter' happening here (Canmore)! Thanks so much for your comment on my post; 'discovering' your "Manitoba" site has certainly rekindled wonderful memories of my grandparents and times spent on the farm - gathering the cows for milking (with blankets wrapped around us - despite scorching heat and humidity, to keep the grasshoppers from touching us), feeding the calves, my grandpa bringing ducklings into the house to "keep them warm" (my grandparents always had the most novel ways to spoil and pamper us!), my grandmother's 'sweets,'...Enjoy your Sunday, immensely!
ReplyDeleteYour lovely flowers are like three sisters, all dressed up in their new spring dresses! I love this, Geri! It is so sweet and so perfect for the blogiversary!
ReplyDeleteOh, just too sweet! The colors are so bright and cheerful and I just love those sweet polka dots. Happy Blogiversary!
