the challenge #53

My goodness...how time flies when you're having fun! It seems like mere days since my first guest designing post at 'the challenge' ...and here we are, five weeks later!  I had a blast! Thanks again for the invitation Kim.


This week we are encouraged to make a non-traditional Christmas card with this inspirational photo:







The trees are a Silhouette file, the "Happy" die...I honestly don't know!

I decided to use a bright (quite florescent IRL) color with a sentiment that would hint at a birthday wish until you open the card and find the word "Christmas"....which 'splains the Christmas trees on the front. 

 Here's another version using the same images - this time with a bit of aqua glimmer paper and a wee snowbank.

    What?! This gem of a card didn't appear in my Feedly until today! Crazy! I'm smitten with your CAS-ilicious card; the wee trees, sporting their tasteful bits of starry bling, are charming and the Happy die (wherever it hails from) is fabulous! I'm with Darnell: sets of these in various colours would be stunning! Love it!

    Hi, friend, ...have been MIA since Nov, but I'm 'catching up' on what I've missed out on!!!!
    ...and here we have that absolutely wonderful 'Geri-CAS-Perfection' that I enjoy sooooo much!!! Love those cute little trees and the bit of shine of the rhinestones!!! Love the idea to use the 'Happy' on the outside - so clever and cute!!!! And I love the little snowbank on the aqua one!!! I really like these cards, and as always I keep on scrolling back to have another look at your wonderful creations!!!! So lovely, my friend!!!
