0 calories if you devour these treats standing up! Yeah right...only in my dreams!
But let's look at this from a positive point of view. The raspberries could be considered a serving of fresh fruit! And...I know that you will be inspired! How could you not be?
A quick & easy creation using a Silhouette cut file. It took me longer to color the polka dots with a white gel pen than it did to put this paper pieced card together. Bits and pieces of DP, swooshes of winking Stella and a sweet Paper Smooches sentiment.
Dag-nabbit though...another grrrrrrrrr photo!!! At least this time the unintentional pink tint matches the icing!
I hope that you will find time to play along with this challenge. See you in the gallery :)
Thanks for stopping by :) Happy crafting!
Haha! Isn't that how it always goes with CAS designs? One tiny element takes so much more work than you'd planned. It's such a bright, fun cupcake though!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet card! Lovely colours and calorie free too! xxx
ReplyDeleteSuper SWEET!
ReplyDeleteMmmm, my favourite kind of cupcake - calorie-free! Love the dotty topping :)
ReplyDeleteI thought cupcakes were an essential food group, all on their own! And I can't be mistaken about that! Your card: delicious! Those colours make me ultra happy! As for the pink tint...same issues my way. Still, your cupcake is the star of the show, so background-schmackground...it's pretty through and through!
ReplyDeleteHugs~c (amazing...I'm *on time* with my comment!! Woo hoooo!)
Love the card Geri. Looks yum! Love strawberries too. Bravo. - Jim

ReplyDeleteSuch a YUMMY card!! Love the dots - so worth the extra effort!!
ReplyDeleteYou did an excellent job of paper-piecing this delicious looking cupcake, Miss G!! And your dots with a gel pen - inspired!! Thank you for the amazing inspiration!! I think I'll eat dinner before I go see the rest of the DT or I may be a very naughty girl in the pantry!! Wait. What? Miss you!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLOVE this...really love this. Just too darn cute and so fun too. The colors are so fabulous and your hand made polka dots are amazing. As for your pinkish tint, I do not see it. Love your incredible card, so sweet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delicious and yummy looking card, Geri - looks good enough to eat!!! Does the white cs have any calories??? LOL!!!! (I'm having my supper standing up, tonight!!! But actually I'll start worrying about calories when I'm old and grey!!!! To much effort to pay attention to them at this stage!!!) Your cupcake is so lovely, Geri and did you really add the polka dots with a gel pen??? WOW - looks like printed paper - so perfectly lined up!!!! And I'm OK with the candle in stead of the berry - in fact I think the candle has less calories than the fruit!!!! Love the paper you have used for the cup!!! Oh, this is such a fun card, Geri - I LOVE it!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, friend!!!
Hugz
