Darnell just posted a fabulous picture of her back yard playhouse and some Spring pretties. Notice the blooming flowers and the tree with green leaves.  Scroll down ...

Well, this is a picture I just snapped of our back yard!  Notice the nine million feet of snow and the lovely bare trees! Ah yes....that is the handle of the shovel in the bottom right hand corner!

Can anyone hear me whimpering?

  1. LOLOLOLOL! We don't have as much snow as you anymore (although the ground is still covered), but we just experienced about 15 minutes of white-out conditions. Let's start a petition - TIME FOR SPRING!

  2. LOLOLOLOLOL too (from both of us)! I'm not going to tell you what's finally beginning to happen with plants and flowers here, my friend ... or about eggs turning into fluffy chicks (oops, let that one slip!) because winter will be over in no time ... just wait till that nine million tons of snow melts, you'll have a spring wonderland! Anita :)

  3. Wow, Geri! That is a lot of snow! I Wish I could send you some of the sunshine here in Yuma, AZ. But we will be leaving in a few days and heading home where we won't find snow but it will be wet and much cooler (we had three days last week over 90 degrees here). Looking forward to my spring flowers and working in the garden but wish I could bring the sunshine home with me. Well you should have a wonderful spring once the snow melts.

  4. No sign of the Spring fairy for you my dear friend!
In this part of the world we fear the signs of Spring because Summer follows , and... yes Summer is a whole other story!

  5. Aw, criminy, Ger, I dinnit mean to make you whimper! Your backyard is even more George S. than mine come summer, so just keep saying, "soon, soon." Okay, crap, not soon. That's why God made wine, honey.

  6. Looks like my whole yard, except that it is still snowing/blizzarding here. I want the snow to go away already.
