Happy Friday everyone! It's color splash time at the Play Date Cafe - I'm sure you've guessed that magenta is the splash color! Over at Paper Smooches anything goes and another fun sketch at Unscripted Sketches. So off you go now and get all craftied up!
I'm all over my new PS stamps and have reached for them constantly since they arrived. Today was no different. I stamped a collage of some b-day sentiments, to create this fun card. You can easily switch up the color of the mat and candles for a masculine card.
Card details: PS Sentiment Sampler, CTMH and SU cardstock
Happy crafting!
This is like yummy candy. Sweet card my friend! I have to agree with you. PS stamps are the bomb!!! I don't know how you do such straight lines either; mine are always, always crooked. Love it to the moon and back. (Pookie would love this too) Have a good Friday. Bev
ReplyDeleteOMG! This is a real 'why didn't I think of that' card. Looks very simple, but I can imagine myself sitting there thinking - do I draw the box first, or stamp the stamps first. A hard decision but important because there's no room to hide inaccuracy here! Love it - clean and crisp and beautiful and I think I'll be casing it!
ReplyDeleteScrumptious card, Geri! PS stamps and dies are awesome! I'd love to know which ones you have, as my "want" battle has won over the 'need' and a "must order" is on the weekend schedule!;) Like Bev, I'm wondering how you manage the straight lines, as mine are aways slightly askew, which = crazy-making! Yes indeed, I've scrolled up about a dozen times to admire your card whilst I write this note. So fantastic!! Good thing eye-candy isn't calorie-dense, because this one alone would be oodles' worth. Oh yes, the tie die I used for one of my guy cards is from My Creative Time (http://shop.my-creative-time.com/Stamp-and-Die-Kits_c31.htm) Have an excellent Friday; will em soon!

Ooh, fabulous way to use all those sentiments!
ReplyDeleteCompletely delectable, Geri ... utterly creative and original and precise and flawless ... the magenta is stunning! And yes, I agree too, PS stamps are fun and fabulous, but it's what you've done with them here that's made them so marvellous! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteYou made that?! That's not one big image stamp? So impressive, girlfriend, I can't even begin to tell you!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous! I love the stacked sentiments...and your bright pink candles. I've got to find ONE of your cards to CASE, although that will be difficult to do! xx
ReplyDeleteI agree with Darnell, very impressive and a simply amazing card.
ReplyDeleteTruly amazing - I wouldn't attempt this unless it were a single stamp!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous design! Love how you arranged all those sentiments just perfectly. Thanks for joining us at Paper Smooches SPARKS.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! This packs a {pretty} punch!!! Perfection, Geri!!!
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous creation by... you guessed! Geri of course!
ReplyDeleteI love PS stamps! This card is so adorable. Love how you used the stamps to create the individual sections in the sketch :)
ReplyDeleteFun card! Love that stamp! Thanks for playing at The Play Date Cafe.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh - has it seriously been since May that I've commented on this?!! I should be SPANKED for being so remiss in visiting your blog, Geri!! I love how you've created your own little subway art with the PS sentiments, and I'm so glad that you're getting some great use out of them!!
