12 DAYS OF HOLIDAY PROJECTS - DAY THREE

Welcome to Day 3 of the Holiday Project Inspiration blog tour :)

This is an old CMH stamp set (Frosty Friends) that literally fell out of my stamp cupboard this afternoon.  I did have another card planned but this one just seemed to call out for some paper piecing.  So paper piecing it was.  I used textured AC card stock, two pairs of reading glasses and snipped away! A bit of glitter ink on the hearts (tough to see in the photo), a hand doodled border and a TAWS sentiment stamp (Holiday Sparkles).

Here is the list of the rest of the Inspiration Crew! Grab a nice hot cup of coffee and enjoy the tour.  Remember to leave a comment here on my blog for a chance to win a mystery prize. The random draw will be held on December 22nd.

  1. Aww, Geri ... could this little snow family get any cuter ... they're completely adorable! The paper piecing is as perfect as ever and the colours of their warm winter wrappings (and carrot, bird and tree!) are luscious and vibrant! I love the doodled border ... it mimics the sketchy snowies brilliantly and is a wonderful frame for your cutie patootie scene! Sweet, sweet, sweet, dear friend! Anita :)

  4. It must be the time difference - it's only Day 3 here in Toronto! (your title says 4) lol! But that doesn't change my opinion of this lovely CAS card - the doodled frame is really perfectly matched to that image and sentiment - it all works perfectly together!
