CAS(E) this sketch #107 & TIME OUT Challenge #23

Did your heart skip a beat when you saw this sketch?  Mine did.  At 12:20am. Climbed into bed around 2:30am. But I did get this card finished!

The DT projects and the gallery cards are incredible! So many different approaches to this great sketch and tons of inspiration.

This card will also join another of my V-day cards in the gallery at Time Out Challenge #23.

We are in the middle of a snowy, snowy day that is forecast to turn to freezing rain! In January!  In Manitoba!!! Something is not right!

We're off to Calgary early tomorrow morning to visit our daughter (and hopefully a wee visit with Carol - Just Me C).  It's a 12 hour drive which can be exhausting if the roads aren't great!

The card details - CTMH white base, SSS heart dies, AC paper, AE slopes/hills die, and MFT alphabet and the lovely Miss Stella supplied the sparkle (love that stuff!).

Thanks for stopping by :)

Happy crafting!

  13. Great take on this sketch, my friend. Perfect colors, and all that lovely white space. Hope you're not in the middle of a giant snowstorm, and that you will have a safe journey home. On the other hand...an extra day in Calgary wouldn't be horrible, now would it?! We're supposed to get 5-7" tomorrow, but I plan to sit right here and stay out of the mess! Love your card, as always. : ) Bev

  14. You're such a swooshing expert, Geri ... these slender ones are a gorgeous backdrop to the shimmery Stella'd hearts ... striking and beautiful, dear friend! I'm so far behind that you've already won honours at CTS with a Favourites spot ... yay, congratulations! If (by any chance) you get this during your weekend away ... happy and safe travelling, enjoy your time with Brady ... and give Carol hugs from me! Bisous, Bisous, Anita :)

  18. Oh my, how did this stunning beauty fall outside my radar! I'm a-swoon with your ability to elevate 'simple' to 'stunning' time and again! The wavy lines, the pink hearts, the perfectly placed XOs...makes my heart pitter-patter! Yes, we must get together when next you visit (soon, I hope!)! Looks like we both had 'hectic' on our agendas this time round! I'm hoping things will settle more later this month...or March...maybe April! Whatever the case, seeing you will be priority #1! Having a chance to chat with you though: makes my heart smile! And in case I haven't done so (land of forgetfulness...I think I own a rather large mansion there, at present *grin*): THANK YOU for the donation to the Children's Hospital. So grateful...so touched...so blessed to have you as a friend! Hugs and love in large batches!
    Hugs~c
