CARD CONCEPT #28 & MUSE #104

SAY WHAT???

Rest assured, Card Concept Challenge #28 went live last week.  And where was my post? Well, it was sitting nice & quiet in my draft folder....waiting to be published!

I have been quite busy lately and it suddenly dawned on me this evening that there were 0 comments on this card! It is definitely NOT one of my fav creations, but I know that you folks out there in blog land are very kind and very polite and would have found something nice to say!

So here it is! A tad bit late - as in over a week! I do know that there is still time to play along and perhaps this late arrival will help to spark your creativity for challenge #28, which closes on Feb 16th at noon (PST).

The box of flowers and the heart colors are so pretty. My monitor was playing color tricks on me again so apparently their grey is my steel blue.  Let's just call that "artistic licence" rather than "totally missing the boat".

I'm also submitting my masculine themed card to the current MUSE #104 challenge - "How about one for the guys?"

Happy crafting!

  1. Well, it's a fave creation to me, Geri! I love your "reminder" inspiration card!! (And I love that I'm not the only one having senior moments or brain freezes or farts or whatever we want to blame it on, lol!!) Hugs, Darnell

  2. No....YOU make my heart happy! And what a fun card! Love the simplicity of this, and how you've tucked in "happy" to one of the heart elements! Totally brilliant as usual. Love the 'reminder', and will definitely try to play along, though who knows where Mr. Mojo has gone... Adorable card! Missu. Bev

  8. LOVE this card, Geri! I am sorry I didn't say anything when I went to comment the other day and didn't see your post. Next time I will. Great use of the inspiration photo and colors.

  9. Well I don't know about everyone else, but I am loving this card! The box/heart is amazing and I love how you lined them up in the inspiration photo colors. By the way, that grey looks bluish to me so I would have went with a blue like yours! lol Your sentiment is perfect and I love it, heck this card is the perfect masculine Valentine card! Better late than never too Geri, so I'm glad you got this up and posted. Hugs, Brenda

  17. Well-worth the wait, my friend, because this is a gem of a card! Your framed hearts are handsome and striking, and the wee red heart, paired with the nestled "heart" is charming! Love this immensely! So relieved to know that I'm not the only resident in the Land of Forgetful..or Distracted...or Scattered...or whatever we want to call it! Hope the 'busy-ness' settles down for you soon!
