The Card Concept Challenge #16

No...I haven't dropped off the face of this earth...it's summer! Yard work, holidays, lazy summer days, and a house flipping adventure have all contributed to a very quiet blog!

Our Manitoba summers are far too short to spend indoors, so craft room time is currently hovering between the middle to the bottom of "the list"!

Now, about my card....I love how the simple block font of the sentiment allows the 'frilly/swirly' image to play in the clean & graphic playground. The sentiment stamp was a wee treasure found in the $1 bin at Michaels!

We would love to see how you have been inspired by this photo! Aren't the colors pretty?

Happy crafting!

  4. I so agree with you Geri, the summer is just way to short here too to spent it inside the house. I have to do that all winter, so I really enjoy getting outside in the summer time. I love, love your beautiful card. That heart is just gorgeous and I love the $ store stamp, what a great find! Enjoy the rest of your summer Geri! Hugs, Brenda

  14. So perfect! I keep telling myself "less is more", but for some reason my attempts look unfinished. But then I see cards like this, and I'm reminded of why I love that style so much.
