NBUS CHALLENGE #7
A really, REALLY quick post to get this card in before the door closes at Darnell's NBUS Challenge #7.
I you haven't already done so, please swing by Darnell's blog and check out all the amazing entries and take a moment to say hello cuz we all know that she loves to entertain all her crafty friends!
Card deets: Quick and easy using an NBUS SU black spider web (that seems to have a tinge of navy here!) and a teeny-tiny Boo sentiment (NBUS from my SU card club days). A bit of bling and some textured orange cardstock...which seems to have befuddle my color monitor on my camera! It's quite bright in real life but maybe not quite as vibrant as it seems to appear in this photo!
You best get craftin' if you want to join in the fun cuz the door closes in just a few hours!
Happy crafting!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANNELIE
It's Hannelie's birthday today....and for once, I'm NOT late to the party!
Ms. Desert Diva is one amazing crafter! I'm so in awe of her talent, her clean & simple style and her ca-razy mad Silhouette skills! I wouldn't be one bit surprised if she figured out how to get her Silhouette to cook dinner too!
I had a really, REALLY tough time choosing which card to CASE but settled on this beauty that has been at the top of "My Favorite Hannelie Cards List" since the day she first posted it.
BTW, this 'list' is nearing a kazillion favorites!
A beauty that makes my clean & simple loving heart sing!
Wishing you a day filled with all things that make you happy....and lots of cake too!

CAS(E) this Sketch #186
Yep....it's summer and I'm actually posting a card!
My sweet SUPER DUPER talented friend and neighbor to the west, Carol from Just Me: C is Guest Designing for the current challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch so the yard work was put on hold to make time for crafting!
The moment I saw Carol's spooky sweet creation I decided to follow her lead with a H'ween themed card as well. A Silhouette "BOO" cut file, a piece of my hoarded linen paper courtesy of Anita from France, a few sparkly spider brads (with their legs cut off) and the card was done like dinner!
Hope you can find time to play along but you best hurry because the challenge closes in two days!
Happy crafting!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARNELL
Another birthday celebration and once again, I'm a day late to the party.! But heck, at least I'm consistent!
I know that all of you reading this post love and adore the lady whose birthday we are celebrating!
Yes, it is none other than blogland's most famous card making lady - Darnell from djkardkreations!!!
Sweet Darnell is kind, caring, witty, compassionate, humorous and soooooo talented! She warmly welcomes us all in for a visit to her corner of our card making world where she shares her beautiful creations, her amazing photos and her funny stories! I'm quite sure that I'm not the only one who dreams of having a cute little crafting cottage in the backyard!
One word of caution though...never EVER sip on coffee while reading her posts unless you want spewed coffee allover your computer monitor! She is so darn funny!
I hope you had a fabulous day dear friend and that your trip preparations and plans are all finalized for your upcoming journey to visit all your bloggie buddies across the ocean!
MWAH!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARDYTH and CASOLOGY WEEK 200
A very dear and very talented friend and fellow BABE Ardyth celebrated her birthday yesterday...
...and once again, I'm a day late to the party!
Not only is she super-duper talented but her dedication to this fun sport of card making and DT work is to be commended.
99.9% of you reading this post know that Ardyth is blessed with a clean and simple style that makes my heart sing!
My card was inspired by Ardyth's most recent card (you can find it here)
I love the bold simplicity of her uncolored floral image and that she chose to introduce color into the sentiment instead! Looks so cool!
Hope you had a happy, happy day Ardyth! I can hardly wait for our October BABE's adventure! Yipppeee!
My card details: Clearly Whimsy Stamp (Mom's Layered Flowers) and a bargain bin sentiment!
My card is headed to CASology - Week 200 where Ardyth has been a DT Member from Week 1. Way to go pal!
Happy crafting!

CASing Genius
I'm so excited and honored to have been asked by the delightful, energetic, creative and amazingly talented Kelly Latevola from You & Your Big Dreams to be 2016's first Genius (who me?).
Kelly's dedication to CASEing Genius is to be commended! Her posts give us an opportunity to meet, share and be inspired by other crafters in our warm and friendly card making world!
Now feast your eyes on Kelly's amazing card that was inspired by my cards (which can be seen here on Kelly's blog).
Yep...gorgeous!!!
I'm smitten with the non-traditional winter themed colors, the glorious white space, the beautiful 'movement' of the swooshes and the glitzy snowflakes!
Please click on this link to see more of Kelly's creations as well as other card makers that have been featured in the CASing Genius series.
Thanks again for this fun opportunity Kelly!
Stay tuned for my CASE of Kelly's amazing card!

MUSE #144
Thanks ladies!
And here is this week's MUSE card....
... perfectly crafted and colored by sweet Miss Kate from Platypus Krafts. Yes....Ardyth's daughter! I'm sure we all agree that Kate is definitely gifted with some mad coloring skills!
Wonder who she gets that from?
I happened upon this cute SU image and thought it would be perfect for the current MUSE challenge so I decked out the snow folks with some brightly colored hats, scarves and Winks of Stella.
Happy crafting :)

the challenge #53
My goodness...how time flies when you're having fun! It seems like mere days since my first guest designing post at 'the challenge' ...and here we are, five weeks later! I had a blast! Thanks again for the invitation Kim.
The trees are a Silhouette file, the "Happy" die...I honestly don't know!
Here's another version using the same images - this time with a bit of aqua glimmer paper and a wee snowbank.
Happy crafting :)
