Inspired by Happy Dance

A few weeks back, I came across a card that Bev from Happy Dance had posted (see below). I absolutely fell in love with the layout that she used - perfect for either a baby boy or girl.  I immediately tucked in into my card file until such time as I needed to make a baby card.  Well that need arose today.

Bev is one talented and busy lady!  I really don't know how she finds the time to craft!  I'm sure that she would love it if you stopped by her blog to say hello and check out her fabulous creations.  Please take a moment to let her know that you dropped in to say hello :)

Here is Bev's sweet card - aren't these colors fabulous!

Details:  Clouds were die cut from some really old SU patterned paper and adhered to 2 layers of craft-a-board.  Hearts (SU Embosslit) were adhered to one layer of craft-a-board and attached to the clouds with Baker's Twine. Sentiment - SU.

  1. *blush*. You've taken my little card and have given it a delightful upgrade!! Love how you've used bakers twine between hearts and clouds! And all your patterned papers are sweet. This is wonderful, Geri. : ) Bev

  4. Fabulous, Geri, a hugely successful CASE of a lovely card ... all the different patterns blend so well together and are perfectly complemented by the twine and that adorably meandering sentiment ... splendid! Anita :)

  5. That's a beautiful CASE of Bev's card, Geri! I love the happy, happy it evokes in either yellow or pink ... next someone will have to do a blue version. I do love your take on the details with the twine and the hearts!

Between my introduction of Bev on my post today and now I see your's from Monday, she will indeed be happy dancing from all the extra visitors! How fun is that??

(BTW, brilliant poem back to me!) Cheers! Darnell
