Yep...new product arrived from SSS. I have seen this die used throughout blogland and decided that I really, REALLY needed it! For guy cards of course.
I prefer the angle of the dots leading into the sentiment (middle green card) as it seems to draw the eye to the top right corner. The angle of dots leading away from the sentiment (card 1 and 3) seems awkward and somewhat disjointed.
Now as long as I remember this next time I use the die, all will be well!
This trio will be headed to Anything Goes -Simply Create Too
Happy crafting!
These are SO cute!!! Gluing all those dots in place must have taken forever!! Your gorgeous creations are so clean and crisp and awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat ... two posts in one day, my friend ... is it really true ... yay, how brilliant!! You just know I'm going to love these crisp, fresh and completely CAS dotty beauties, Geri ... I can so see why you would want this die ... and am thinking one may just need to come and live here too ... you enabler, you! Hugs & Bisous, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteLove these perfectly CAS cards. POLKA DOT rows!!!!!! Made me happy the second I laid eyes on the first card. A trio of fun. And I like them going either way; up or down. They add so much interest and dimension, and there's just so many ways to use this. I hope you use this one often, and can't wait to see your next creations!! Solids, ombres, rainbows...so many possibilities. Love these!! Give me a jingle when you have time. I'm missing you and sending big ol' hugs! Bev
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I am loving that die too Geri and I am in love with your cards. They are all beautiful to me, but I have to say I am with you on the angle of the dots leading to the sentiment. Now I just may NEED this die too. lol Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteI agree - I have always had a thing about the top right being towards the future and the bottom or left being 'looking back'! Love the graphic design here and the demonstration of all the various colours! Did you get the inks? Do you like them?
ReplyDeleteLove these, but the green is my favorite :)
ReplyDeleteOh my...Miss Geri, these are so faublous! I love each one of them, so fun and so simple too! You are just so creative. Ok...so what it the name of the die, I have not seen it around blogland other than on yours. I need this die...so please share! Again, I love your trio of cards. Miss you lots!

ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your cards and designs. This one has me trying to locate the dies. I tried Simon Says but maybe they are too new? I hope you will have time to give me a big hint! Thanks
ReplyDeleteRows of polka dots....happy sigh! In my opinion, any way you tilt them, they work, and anywhere you put the sentiment, it works! These is one terrific trio of smile-makers!
ReplyDeleteHugs~c
These are simply stunning, Geri!!!! Love how you have worked with the colours - specially love the colours on nr 3!! I think I agree with you on having the dots leading your eyes towards the sentiment on nr 2, but I do like it in the opposite direction, too!!! Love the font of the sentiment stamp!!! This is such a lovely design that works beautifully for either a guy or a girl - imagine how nice it will look in pink, too, hey!!! This is really so cleverly done, Geri!!!!
