CAS(E) THIS SKETCH #136

Thanks ladies!

Wow...it's been sooooo long since I've done a post that I almost forgot how!!!

I saw this sketch and knew it was time to sneak away from yard work for a bit and play along with Sketch #136.  No surprise that I love all the white space beneath the sketch elements.

My card is as clean and simple, easy peasy as it gets! I repeatedly stamped a PTI image from a set that seemed to make its way home with me after leaving the Lakehouse for our first BABES adventure. Thanks Bev from Happy Dance!

I used Versafine Black ink and my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the images. The sentiment is an old Studio G stamp.

The DT creations are guaranteed to inspire you, as will the gallery. Love, love, love checking out all the clean & simple cards that are posted.

I hope you're all enjoying a lovely summer. We have been experiencing some crazy hot temps that soared to 35C (about 95F) this past week. Quite uncomfortable when you add in a Humidex factor of 45! But hey, it's better than -45C!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy crafting!

  6. Perfectly lined up and perfectly graphic - love this! And I think I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that there's no need for the number 45 in any temperature (plus or minus)! It's hot here today, too - just took a quick walk and I'm melting.....!

  12. WOW...just love your card and welcome back to blogland my dear friend! When I first looked at your card I would have bet money that you used a die and it was a stamp!!! You are just fabulous and so creative. I remember that stamp at the Lake House, you totally rocked it. Miss you lots!

  13. First: THANK YOU for taking time to visit my blog and leave such amazing comments! Each and every one: a treasure! So thrilled that you stepped away from your garden - and especially the heat (45C? Yikes!) - to bring us another of your dazzling gems! I'm in awe of your perfectly straight stamping; something that continually eludes me (that and cutting straight edges. Thank heavens for panel dies!). Graphic gorgeous in every way! Sooooo...when are coming to visit that daughter of yours? Let me know...perhaps we can meet up. How I would love x love that!
    Hugs~c

  15. Congratulations on your CTS win. Your card caught my eye, and I came running over to see how the heck you lined up those stamps so perfectly. I recognized the set as one I always end up frustrated with, as I can never get them this straight and even. Hats off to you!!!
