Unscripted Sketches #188 and CASology: Week #22: SPARKLE

Another fun cue word this week at CASology and a sweet new sketch at Unscripted Sketches.  Stop by and check out the 'sparkle' that the Casology DT have created and the fabulous creations of the rest of the Unscripted DT.

Photographing sparkle/glitter is hard!  Simple as that!  I'm guessing that the reflection of the glitter messes up the sensor in the camera. SU red and silver glitter paper were used for the dots and the inside of the bows (although the red looks more like a burgundy/brown color). Much prettier in real life :)

The presents are cut out and popped up on dimensionals. The bows are half of a flower punch, sentiment is SU, the stamp is another $1.50 snag this past week at Michaels. SU Cherry Cobbler, Black and CTMH white card stock.

Are you  ready to play along?  Just click to link either or both of the links above.

Happy crafting :)

  2. Love this - so clean and still rich with colour. And I agree - SU! has the prettiest sparkly paper, but it's difficult to photograph! I love the art deco feel of the pattern on the gifts! Thanks so much for playing along with CASology this week!

  9. Another super CAS card, Geri! Upon reflection, I agree with you about the reflection being the cause of the problem. Whatever it is, at least we are all in the same boat. Those bows are so cool.
